Fundraising
Obtain sponsors and manage the organization's obligation to advertise their brand.
Set up coaches and volunteers with proper tracking techniques and volunteer opportunities for corporate matching programs.
Track yearly sponsor's contracts, artwork, signage and presence on organization's website and digital marketing campaigns.
Ensure advertising signage and banners are in good condition, and installed and removed each season at the proper times.
Coach Recruiting
Work with the VP of Football to gain an understanding of the organization's coaching needs.
Manage the recruiting lifecycle, helping find quality coaching candidates.
Foster high-touch relationships with parents and members of the local youth sports community.
Design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
Coach Training
Work with the Lake Washington High School head football coach to understand the high school football program's strategy.
Help coaches design and execute practice plans utilizing up to date safety standards, mentoring them in the process.
Coordinate coaching clinics for our coaches such as Glazier Clinics and UW Football Coaches Clinics.
Study the GEJFA rulebook to understand league specific rules.
Coordinate coach's meetings with the high school football coaching staff.
Oversee background screening and online education requirements.

IT
Ensure the organization has the technology it needs to fulfill its mission.
Manage IT systems such as Google Workspace, SportsEngine, QuickBooks Online, Slack, Mailchimp, Hudl, and social media accounts.
Coordinate systems, policies, and procedures to ensure stakeholders have appropriate access to the IT tools they need.
Safeguard data, network access, and backup systems.
Registrar
Supervise and oversee the proper registration of all players within the club. This includes handling all aspects of the registration process, from electronic sign-up to accurately reporting individual details to GEJFA.
Develop and prepare team rosters ensuring that players are assigned to appropriate teams based on age, weight, and other relevant factors.
Maintain accurate records of club members, both current and past. This includes tracking player information, transfers, and any blacklisted individuals, adhering to club guidelines and league rules.
Ensure that all relevant documentation, such as proof of age and grade, is collected and recorded.
Collaborate with the Treasurer to ensure that player and membership fees are paid.
Equipment Manager
Handle all equipment and manage the club's equipment storage unit.
Work with the Treasurer on getting bids for and procuring helmets, jerseys, pants, etc.
Coordinate gear hand-out and return events.
Maintain detailed records and ensure all gear is returned each season.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and reconditioned per manufacturer's guidelines.
Facilities
Coordinate scheduling and availability of practice and game fields.
Ensure scoreboard, PA, and lighting systems are operational and provide training to team volunteers.
Coordinate access to press booth on game days.
Ensure game day supplies (athletic training tent, table, cooler, ice, scale, chains, pylons, cones, etc.) are available at games and then properly stored.
